Creating Art Gallery presents the Young Creators Art Program 2026, a six-week creative learning program designed to encourage children and young learners to explore art, develop practical skills, and discover their own creative voices.
Through a combination of guided lessons, hands-on activities, creative exercises, and individual projects, participants will learn the foundations of drawing, painting, color, composition, and visual storytelling.
The program is designed to make learning art enjoyable and accessible while giving participants the freedom to experiment and develop their own artistic ideas.

Participants will learn how to observe objects and translate what they see into drawings.
Activities include:

Week 4 — Exploring Painting
December 5, 2026
Participants will experiment with painting techniques and different ways of applying color to a surface.
Activities include:
- Brush techniques

- Creating backgrounds

Week 5 — Creative Expression
December 12, 2026
Participants will begin developing their own original artwork based on an idea or theme of their choice.
They will learn how to turn an initial idea into a finished creative concept.
Week 6 — My Artwork, My Story
December 19, 2026
The final session focuses on completing and presenting each participant's artwork.
Participants will have the opportunity to:
- Complete their final artwork
- Give their artwork a title
- Talk about their creative process
- Present their work to family and other participants
Final Art Showcase
The program will conclude with a small Young Creators Art Showcase at Creating Art Gallery.
Participants will have the opportunity to display their completed artworks in the gallery and celebrate their creative achievements with their families and friends.
The showcase provides young artists with an exciting introduction to exhibiting their work in a real gallery environment.
